These terms apply when you use the Bima Sarathi website www.bimasarathi.in, our Android app or our services. "We", "us" and "Bima Sarathi" mean Jai Prakash Singh. By using our services you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy policy and Disclaimer.
1. Who we are
Jai Prakash Singh is an individual insurance agent licensed under IRDAI regulations and appointed by: Life Insurance Corporation of India (Agent code LIC7795912N); IndusInd General Insurance Company Limited (Agent code 13A12219); Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Limited (Agent code BA0000118420). We are not an insurance company or an insurance broker. Policies are issued by the insurer, and we act as that insurer's agent.
2. Who can use our services
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract under Indian law.
3. Your account
- You log in with your mobile number, password and/or one-time password (OTP).
- Keep your password and OTP secret. Never share an OTP with anyone, including people who say they are from Bima Sarathi.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
4. Information you give
You must give complete, true and correct information, including about your health, your vehicle and past claims. If information is wrong or hidden, the insurer may reject a claim or cancel the policy. Read the proposal form and policy document carefully before you sign or pay.
5. Quotes and policies
- Quotes are indicative and depend on the insurer's final underwriting. The premium, cover and terms in the insurer's policy document are final.
- A policy is a contract between you and the insurer. Coverage, exclusions, claims, free-look period, cancellation and refunds are governed by the insurer's policy wording.
- Cover starts only when the insurer receives the premium and issues the policy.
6. Payments
- Pay premium only through the official payment link or channel we send you, or directly to the insurer.
- Never pay premium in cash or into any person's bank account or UPI ID.
- Refunds of premium (for example, during the free-look period or if a proposal is declined) are made by the insurer as per its rules.
7. Claims
We will help you raise a claim and follow up with the insurer. The decision to accept or reject a claim, and the amount paid, is made only by the insurer.
8. Calls and messages
When you share your number, you agree that we may call, SMS, WhatsApp or email you about your quote, policy, renewal and claims. Calls may be recorded for quality and training, and you will be told when a call is recorded. You can stop promotional messages any time by replying STOP or contacting us; service messages about your policy will continue.
9. Fair use
Do not misuse our website or app, try to access other people's data, upload harmful files, or use our services for fraud. We may suspend accounts that do.
10. Our content
The Bima Sarathi name, logo, text and design belong to us. Insurer names and logos belong to their owners.
11. Limitation of liability
We take care to give correct information, but we are not liable for decisions made by insurers, for losses caused by wrong or incomplete information you gave, or for interruptions caused by events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Insurance Act, 1938, IRDAI regulations or consumer protection law.

13. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts at New Delhi will have jurisdiction, subject to your right to approach the Insurance Ombudsman, consumer forums or IRDAI.
